Summary:

Looking for an opportunity to use my many skills in manufacturing and

operations to help in making my employer a world class organization through

the continual improvement of processes, systems and the knowledge of my

I have a very diverse background in manufacturing. I have worked in almost

all facets of the discipline and I have a true passion for the success of

the trade. I have a knack for looking at an operation and developing the

I have developed entire systems from scratch. I create all 4 tiers of

documentation, do the training and implementation and achieve and maintain

certification. I also perform internal audits. I like to be hands on, I

like to get dirty and spend time on the floor.

I am knowledgeable in Mil-Specs as with most Quality Management Systems.

ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, Etc.

Along with the companies listed below, I have worked on my own as a

consultant to manufacturing companies.

Knowledge of FDA requirements including CGMP, CFR 820, GHTF.

I have passed the RAB certified course to implement and audit ISO

13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008.

2010

Worked in Shanghai, China qualifying suppliers to for our low cost country

sourcing initiative. I contacted factories in China and I went into their

facility to survey their quality management system and make sure they have

the capability to manufacture parts to our expected quality level. I also

worked with them during the initial manufacturing stages to help them

develop the process and systems necessary to meet the demand. I stayed in

China during these times, usually for a month or two at a time. I traveled

throughout China, and sometimes other Asian countries qualifying, auditing,

and consulting to factories.

Operations Manager

Manufacturer of components shipped primarily to the Aerospace and National

Defense and Medical Device Industries.

. Developed and implemented the state of the art system used by the

company to achieve it's ISO 9001:2000 certification

. Gained ISO 9001:2000 certification on the first audit with no non-

conformances.

. Designed and implemented the 5S program.

. Developed ISO 13485:2003 QMS.

. Developed the detailed employees training program and initiated the

training jacket program.

. Worked with customers, vendors and employees to ensure an efficient

closed loop system

. Took the company from $700,000 a year in shipped goods to $1.6 million

in one year while maintaining a labor rate below 30%.

. Maintained the system through the use of the Shoptech E2 System

. Managed budget to profitability

. I developed and setup our paint room so we could paint to the mil-spec

callouts ourselves. I did the painting as well.

. Programmed and ran the Omax waterjet.

This company is where I got my start and developed my passion for
