To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept this letter as a formal application for employment with your
company. I obtained my CCNA certification in June 2010. I am a graduate
of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home with an Associate of Applied
Science in Information Systems with an emphasis on networking. While at ASU-
MH, I have become very interested in becoming a networking specialist in a
company setting.
I have received a wonderful education that I believe makes me a great fit
for your company. I will contribute to the services your company provides
to the community, while focusing on providing remarkable customer service.
While on campus at ASU-MH I have gained experience with multiple routing
protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, Frame Relay, RIP, and RIP v2. I also became
proficient in network design, used different classes of ip addressing
schemes, worked with different network topologies, and used network
administration tools. I also gained experience with Windows Server 2003
and Linux operating systems. During my spring internship, I served as Papa
John's network administrator. Where I learned how to maintain a network
and troubleshoot when necessary. It was a very rewarding experience, and
it gave me confidence in my abilities.
I am very excited about the opportunity of obtaining employment with your
company. I believe I have the knowledge and experience to contribute to
your company. I consider myself to be hardworking, trustworthy, and honest.
My family is very important to me, and I will work hard to provide for
them. I have learned valuable customer service skills at my previous places
of employment. I believe I would be a great asset to your company, and you
can count on me to get the job done. Thank you for your time, and for
accepting my resume.
Sincerely,
Jason Guthrie, CCNA
