Loc Performance Products, LLC- Machine shop for the defense and automotive industries
(approx. 200 employees) with $60 Million plus in sales
July, 2007 – October, 2008
As the Director of Purchasing, I restructured the purchasing department changing it from a job
shop work environment into a productive, purchasing organization with systems supportive of
growth; the sales volume doubled from $30 plus million to $60 plus million within the year in a
half while I was there.
Global Automotive Systems/MTI/Cresive Tool & Die- Manufacturer of stampings for the
automotive industry (approx. 1000 plus employees) with over $300 Million plus in sales
November, 1999 – July, 2007
I started as a Buyer with Cresive and worked my way into the Director of Purchasing position.
Over the duration of my employment, Cresive was purchased by MTI, which restructured
through Chapter 11 and was then purchased by Global Automotive Systems, LLC. Much of my
efforts were focused on maintaining cost savings and productivity supporting lean
manufacturing while surviving several down size internal restructures. I was able to establish
and maintain supplier relations while creating a corporate, centralized purchasing organization
offering leveraged buying strategies throughout 8 manufacturing facilities.
Rofin-Sinar- Manufacturer of industrial cutting and welding lasers (approx. several hundred
employees) with $200 Million plus in sales.

I was a Buyer of PCB’s and metal fabrication parts. I was able to turnkey and outsource their
PCB work cell, which offered cost savings through labor reallocation efforts. I was very active
with internal and external auditing through supplier development activities.
Yazaki North America- Manufacturer of wire harnesses (approx. 10,000 plus employees) with
Multi-billion dollars in sales.
November, 1988 – July, 1997
I started in inside sales and worked my way into Purchasing as a Buyer. This is where I
developed the foundation of my business skills and work ethics. The Japanese style of hard
work and stringent mandates became part of my core values. I learned how to look for and
implement continuous improvements, audit and develop suppliers and create partnerships that
offer win-win opportunities.
