Job Title:TAT - Test Analyst Technical
This component was created under the Systems Technology Test Delivery area to bring structure around the te
sting practices in the Enterprise Telecommunications area for State Farm. Our component has been involved i
n various areas regarding Voice, Data, and Contact Center technologies. I joined this component for a new op
portunity to learn new telecommunications technologies, as well as help bring formal testing practices to the tel
ecommunications arena.
Primary responsibilities:
Test case creation and execution.
Test documentation creation (test plan and test summary reports).
Test result evaluation, documentation and reporting.
Defect identification, creation, and management. (Utilizing IBM Rational Clearquest)
Projects/technologies of which I have been a Test Analyst under this component:
- Egain customer knowledge applications.
- PCI (Payment Card Industry) migration (VRU call flow testing in combination with credit card payments).
- Witness/Verint - (call recording/scoring) for Contact Center.
- MAS server migration of telephony voice scripts to State Farm “standard“ load.
- ACH Implementation (VRU call flow testing in combination with checking and savings account policy payment

Enterprise Server Release - March 2001 - 2008
TAT - Test Analyst Technical
I was a TAT for the Enterprise Server Release (ESR) project for 7+ years before moving on to the ST Test
Delivery area. The project was created as a solution to the issue of the implementing multiple applications,
across numerous vendors, involving thousands of servers across the State Farm Enterprise. The project conso
lidated the various applications under one "script" and tested that the applications (as well as the server) apply
successfully and function after implementation.
Primary ESR responsibilities:
- Built/maintained the ESR HP/Compaq/IBM (Agency/Non-Agency) test server environment which contained o
ver 60+ servers. Worked with many different server types and applications.
- Test case creation and execution of scripts as well as State Farm/vendor products through process of Unit, S
ystem (Validation), and Acceptance Testing.
- Monitored server loads during Implementation phase.
- Provided 24/7 support to help in troubleshooting ESR related problems across the different State Farm region
s during 3rd/off shift during the Implementation phase of the project .
- Work partially with Systems Management Server (SMS) to schedule issuance pushes onto servers.
Other projects/technologies I have been a Test Analyst under the client/server space:
-HP Proliant Server Project. I was a part of test execution of the new base load for new HP Proliant servers th
at were new to State Farm.
-ESMT (Enterprise Server Management Tool) - I was the primary tester of this web application that was
created to bring server information into a centralized repository for ESR scheduling during Acceptance
Pre/Standard/End-to-End testing.
