As a former first-line supervisor, I am experienced in dealing with a wide

I have hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance on a wide

non-invasive blood pressure monitors, bedside monitors, infusion pumps, and
numerous other types of electronic and mechanical equipment. In addition,
I have successfully conducted troubleshooting and repairs of beds,
stretchers, suction units, defibrillators, and other equipment with minimal
supervision.
These qualifications and the specific responsibilities listed in my resume
ensure that I would be a valuable addition to any team. I look forward to
the opportunity to meet and discuss any further questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Paul R. Headen

Electrical / Electronics Technician
Overview By using effective management and leadership techniques, I have
developed a reputation for dedicated and reliable service. Time and again
I have been recognized for "making seemingly impossible situations work."
I have a proven and verifiable track record for producing higher
performance standards and enhancing productivity during times of shrinking
budgets, many times without financial incentive. Following a successful
Army career, I seek the opportunity to use my skills and experience in a
different field.
Professional Experience

Sergeant First Class - Completed 22-year career with the US
Army, gaining mid-level manager status. Participated in the complete
revitalization and overhaul of the US Military in general - and the US Army
specifically - from the low status perceived in the 1970's to the most
powerful and effective military in history. Specific duties and
achievements include:
Management: Effectively led a Military Intelligence platoon containing
65 people; responsible for their daily supervision, welfare, and training.

improving office performance by 45%. Maintained accountability and oversaw
safe usage of vehicles and equipment valued in excess of $20 million.
Upgraded training curriculum and methods; cross-trained personnel in job
duties resulting in lower supervision requirements and improved mission
accomplishment.
Training & Development: Spent the last three years as an
Observer/Controller at the US Army National Training Center, Fort Irwin,
California. Mentored and trained over 300 soldiers in necessary skills and
best practices prior to their deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.
