**********@*****.***

I seek a position as an Electrical/Electronics Technician. Although I am

new to this field, I bring a variety of skills and abilities not commonly

found at this level. These skills, coupled with my solid technical

education, ensure that I can be an asset to any organization

As a former first-line supervisor, I am experienced in dealing with a wide

variety of people. Today's work environment requires good customer service

skills; I possess exactly those skills and can use them effectively to

ensure the customer's needs are met. I have a demonstrated ability to

handle multiple tasks concurrently and can work effectively in stressful

situations. My maturity and responsibility ensure that I can be relied

upon to use good judgment and to follow all policies, safety regulations,

and workplace requirements. By using effective risk management, I can

contribute significantly to getting the job done without endangering people

or equipment.

I have hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance on a wide

variety of hospital equipment currently in use, to include defibrillators,

non-invasive blood pressure monitors, bedside monitors, infusion pumps, and

numerous other types of electronic and mechanical equipment. In addition,

I have successfully conducted troubleshooting and repairs of beds,

stretchers, suction units, defibrillators, and other equipment with minimal

supervision.

These qualifications and the specific responsibilities listed in my resume

ensure that I would be a valuable addition to any team. I look forward to

the opportunity to meet and discuss any further questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Paul R. Headen

developed a reputation for dedicated and reliable service. Time and again

I have been recognized for "making seemingly impossible situations work."

I have a proven and verifiable track record for producing higher

performance standards and enhancing productivity during times of shrinking

budgets, many times without financial incentive. Following a successful

Army career, I seek the opportunity to use my skills and experience in a

different field.

Professional Experience

Sergeant First Class - Completed 22-year career with the US

Army, gaining mid-level manager status. Participated in the complete

revitalization and overhaul of the US Military in general - and the US Army

specifically - from the low status perceived in the 1970's to the most

65 people; responsible for their daily supervision, welfare, and training.

improving office performance by 45%. Maintained accountability and oversaw

safe usage of vehicles and equipment valued in excess of $20 million.

duties resulting in lower supervision requirements and improved mission

accomplishment.

Training & Development: Spent the last three years as an

Observer/Controller at the US Army National Training Center, Fort Irwin,

California. Mentored and trained over 300 soldiers in necessary skills and
