. Design: Facilitated Design Review Sessions that included multiple

disciplines documented and validated workflows. These generally

involved demonstrations to large audiences

. Build: Updated and maintained 'Build trackers, Decision trackers and

Issues List.

. Built and/or updated many different Epic master files including: fixed

and partial profiles (including an emergency fix to ensure patient

safety), master files, SmartSets, SmartLinks, SmartList, SmartPhrases,

device validation, Created new flow sheet rows with custom lists and

then updated the specific reports and print groups that pulled from

. Test: Created test scripts to be used to test all new build. Worked

systematically in several Epic environments to ensure build was

appropriate and tested thoroughly before moving into the Production

(Live) environment. Participated in Smoke Testing as needed to

thoroughly test all new updates and releases before they were released

into the Production environment. After this was tested the new data

would be placed into PRD and we would retest again before releasing

the system after the downtime.

. CLIENT WAS VERY BEHIND ON BUILD SO THE IMMEDIATE FOCUS WAS ON REPORTS AND

FLOWSHEETS. BUILT 15-20 FLOW SHEETS AND 11 ACCORDION REPORTS IN 2 WEEKS.

HAD TO FIRST DO AN ANALYSIS OF THEIR BUILD TO SEE WHAT EXISTED IN THE

SYSTEM BEFORE BUILD COULD BEGIN.

. Built BPA's for immunizations/vaccines. Including building the preference

lists that were attached to the criteria records to cause the SPECIFIC

and age appropriate order to fire.

. Worked with one full time analyst in teaching how to build reports. This

involved instructing how to mimic model build and how to enhance/optimize

their own build. I did make a power point presentation with learning

materials for her to utilize.

. Heading Go-Live Readiness Plan for the upcoming Big Bang implementation.

This involves attending meetings and making sure build deadlines are

being met. Assisting others to make sure they understand the tasks and

objectives. Being the lesion between the nurse clinicians and EPIC

builders to ensure everything that needs to be placed into EPIC is done

so appropriately.

SUPPORT TO END USERS AND WORKING WITH EPIC AND OTHER TEAM MEMBERS TO

INVESTIGATE AND FIX ANY ISSUES.

. Assisted with attaching users to Shared Lists in Production environment.

. Assisted users and the team in troubleshooting tickets/ RFS's. This

included the initial investigation, the build, and participating in the

change control process, and eventually moving the build into the

Production environment.

. Assisted staff with their NVT 09 training. Created learning materials for

them to assist with the recertification process.

. Participated in Phase 1 and Phase 3 Integrated testing to test the new

upgrade functionality.

. Part of a team that looked at Print Groups and switched to Rich Text

versus HTML.

. QA'd 162 reports including looking at execution codes and documenting in

functionality.

profiles.

what was in PRD.

. The first person on this team to use the Replacer Utility to substitute

Inactive orders with new Active orders. This included going through all

environments and versioning preference lists and smart groups to reset

all of the defaults as they were previously before the substitution.

. Enhancing smartforms and adding specific CUI's so the data is stored

correctly.

. Currently assisting on the Meaningful Use Project. Analyzing new build

and writing test scripts to test the new build to make sure we are in

compliance.

. RESPONSIBLE FOR LEADING THREE USER ACCEPTANCE TRAINING EVENTS FOR 2

HOSPITALS. THIS INCLUDED IMPROVING FROM 6 WORKFLOW FOLDERS TO OVER 26

THAT WERE VERY SPECIFIC TO THE USER AND THE WORKFLOWS THEY WOULD BE

PERFORMING.

. Participated in seven different Go Lives. Some hospitals within the

system went "Big Bang" while others used a "Phased Approach".

. Participated in several Post Go Live Assessments.

. Created schedules for rounding at specific hospitals to provide extra

assistance to end-users. Would frequently shadow staff to check for

appropriate documentation and assist managers to ensure JACHO standards

were being exceeded.

. Took call frequently to provide immediate assistance to end-users when

needed. When on call I provided immediate assistance to seven hospitals

and supported all Epic modules/applications

. Exceptional prioritization skills and managed a queue that generally had

about 30-60 new tickets per day. This involved investigating,

troubleshooting, and then phoning end-user. Would frequently remote into

the end-users computer and assist and educate when needed

. Was offered the St. Louis Regional Operations Support Manger position

within Sisters of Mercy.

. Created many tip sheets that were sent out to the hospitals to explain

workflows or new system changes that were being implemented.

. Participated in regular meetings with one hospital to ensure their super

users were aware of new changes and understood them so they could help

with the communication to the rest of the staff

. Recently assisted with the 09 Upgrade to the newest version of Epic. This

involved strategic planning and assistance with training to end-users.

This required intense testing and after the upgrade occurred I

participated in working in a command center to help with any questions or

issues.
