Chairman's approval to build all new dedicated North
America Quality Center to improve Hyundai and Kia vehicles
quality. Main mission was to ensure quality during
prototype development, production, and long term durability
with real-world driving and testing in North America.
Directed successfully; all business policies, and quality
engineering operations for Hyundai Quality Division in
Korea. Responsible for all project quality improvement

activities with Toyota Motor Corporation. Managed project quality
activities to improve Lexus ranking 6th in 1998 to #1 ranking by 2000 in JD
Power Initial Quality Survey. Directed vehicle platform designs with Design
Engineering, Production Engineering and Quality Division to ensure Lexus
standards were met. Collaborated with product planning in the development
of the first Lexus Vehicle Development Center in Japan required specific
engineering testing criteria for North America. Manage all technical
operations to improve customer satisfaction and product quality involving
