Summary:

I have many years of retail management experience, including five years of multi-store

supervision, encompassing 150 stores in eight southwestern states. I was responsible for $200

million plus in sales volume. As a Regional Merchandise Manager I was responsible for six

departments of merchandise selection some unique to a particular store location as I deemed

correct. Subsequently as the Kitchen and Bath Merchant for the Southwest Division, I

consistently improved sales volumes and profit dollars on a regular basis for which I received

performance bonuses. I also have years of experience as a store manager. I have constantly

obtained operating bonuses by maintain the highest associate morale in organizations with an

average of 200 people.

I currently hold active Series 7 & 63 securities licenses. In addition I have a Florida

Department of Insurance Health, Life including Variable Annuity license (2-15). I have

recently added a Property & Casualty license (2-20). I completed accreditation through The

College for Financial Planning and received an Accredited Asset Management Specialist

(AAMS) designation. My licenses are for the states of Florida, Texas, & Michigan,. I am

current on all compliance and continuing education requirements for 2011. I currently have

approximately $25 million in assets under management.

Positions held summary with Kmart, Builders Square and Home Depot

Senior Buyer, Regional Merchandise Manager, General Store Manager, Assistant Store

Manager and Department Manager.

I worked my way through the Kmart organization from an hourly department manager into

the management structure. I successfully completed my assistant manager training in Puerto

Rico from which I was promoted to a newly created position of Merchandise Manager in

Florida.

After completing the requisite time for this position I was promoted to a Store Manager and

successfully managed multiple store locations. Being offered a management position in the

newly formed Builders Square Division, I accepted and started my hardware and building

materials career. I opened and managed three locations in Florida, Georgia and Virginia.

I was recruited by Home Depot and went with them, but their company would not hire a

person directly into a store manager’s position so I took a step back to assistant manager. I

adapted and was the most quickly promoted assistant manager at that time. I opened and

managed two stores in Texas, where I was promoted to a Regional Merchandise Manager

position.

After a short time I was promoted to Buyer and then Senior Buyer position of the Kitchen,

Bath and Appliance Departments.

Having successfully managed these areas over a 5 year period I saw the toll it was taking on

my young family so I asked for and was granted the ability to step back to a store mangers

position.

Seeing the direction the company was headed by the change in the most senior levels of the

company, I chose to leave Home Depot to pursue a career in financial services.

Positions held summary with A.G. Edwards & Sons, H&R Block Financial Services, Allstate

Financial Services, and Kovack Securities /We Insure Florida.

Agency Owner, Financial Advisor, and Personal Financial Representative

Starting in the financial services business with A.G. Edwards, I studied for and was

successful in getting my Series 7, 63 and 2-15 licenses. I worked as a Financial Advisor with

A.G. Edwards before I saw opportunities with H&R Block Financial. I worked with H& R

Block and continued to build my book of business.

An opportunity arose for my wife and I to open our own business, so we built an insurance

and financial services business from the ground up with Allstate.

After four years, we decided to leave the captured agent environment to become independent.

We opened our We Insure Florida agency, and I became associated with Kovack Securities in

order to continue my financial services business.

Additional Courses/Accomplishments:

Courses: Hiring the best, Developing People, Conflict Resolution and Outward Bound.

Accomplishments: I was the Team Captain for the Kitchen & Bath Departments for the

District. I coordinated the implementation of new product lines for all of the stores in the

district. Responsible for developing and implementing orientations for newly hired associates

in the district. As Store manager, we earned the Gold Cup Award for the Best Hardware

Department in the District. We scored 98% in our secret shop. On the Gantz-Weily employee

satisfaction survey we were rated the best in the district and in the top ten in the division. With

Allstate I was the top producer in the Nation for Allstate Bank for all four years, and I was the

number one producer in our division for financial services in 2006. I won trips in 2007, 2008,

2009 for exceeding production goals.
