following custom controls: 2-Speed Motor Control-used in the HVAC industry
specifically, Heat-pumps, and it had to be a "Fail-safe" firmware design,
first order of 50K and an EAU of 3 Million devices. Designed Linear and
Switching Power Supplies (Buck/Boost), Worked on: Created the schematic
using ORCAD schematic capture, components selection based on thru-hole and
surface mount design, lowest component cost and parts count. Generated
Bill of Material, a simplified flowchart of the firmware, State Diagram,
Description of Operation, I wrote the functional and diagnostic firmware,
debugged firmware, and tested the prototype. Performed the duty of FAE
between Copeland Corporation and DF Electronics. Coordinated with Cad
department (P.C. board Layout to UL-508 & 873), documentation control and
Tester development. Removed corrosive silicon RTV compounds from our
products parts list, and replaced them with a non-corrosive preferred RTV
types for Cissell, Hillrom, and Amano. Worked on component crosses for
Hilrom's digital scale, using lower cost components, while maintaining
