material requirements. MRP consisted of multiple Excel

Spreadsheets attached to one another that were manually

kept with data pulled from the Oracle 11i system.

. Visited and toured plants to confirm all new suppliers and

to develop plant personnel relationships beyond sales

representatives.

. Talked and met with suppliers to discuss issues including

negotiating prices, delivery and capacity. Worked with

Engineers and new or existing suppliers to develop or to

make changes to raw materials.

. Placed purchase orders via e-mail and fax, with follow-ups

to confirm receipt of PO and to expedite in all shipments

in a timely manner for production.

. Sent all raw material specifications electronically and

expedited supplier sign offs on all specifications to

expedite all deliveries and returns.

. Established accurate Oracle 11i data base records for Item

Master that included raw material description, status,

supplier lead time as well as all Supplier information

followed through until Quality Assurance had accepted

product and if product was rejected worked closely with

material, finished goods and in-process inventories.

new projects. This included going out on the Thomas

. Used AS400 MRP to analyze material requirements for

Laurinburg, Costa Rica, and Dominican Republic's

manufacturing needs. Used MRP to conclude what needed to

be shipped and provided appropriate paperwork to warehouse

for timely shipments.

timely plant final line and sub-assembly schedules,

( National Stock Outs).

. Responsible for the control of approximately $6.2mm of WIP

(Work-in-Process) and $2.2mm of finished goods inventory

monthly. Reviewed new requirements and changes for

determinations of plant manufacturing needs and adherence

to inventory manufacturing needs. Worked with outside

suppliers to ensure coverage for Laurinburg manufacturing

needs and the needs of Costa Rica and Dominican Republic

operations to meet manufacturing schedules.

. Purchased all drugs from sister plant in adherence with

specifications and paid close attention to drug dating.

Kept organized, detailed files of all drugs for minimum

seven years. Answered to FDA auditing.
