the top five such universities in the USA; my grades were B+ and A in those classes
Got to perform one scene from one of my dramatic plays in front of the award winning

good reviews.
Studied Modern American Drama under the renowned, Dr. William Pryor, literary critic and

his friendship with Mr. Williams, who, at that time, was still alive and in regular contact with Dr.
Pryor; was personally the most inspiring class of my academic experience
While in a course, The British Novel, I was assigned the task of writing a short novella; the
professor, Dr. Irving Rothman, gave me an A+ on the piece and asked me to send it to the
prestigious The Atlantic Monthly magazine; the piece was declined but it was an honor to have
been asked.
Fiction reviewer-literary critic of the University of Houston's literary magazine, Domestic Crude
Academic Background
Approximately 200 hours at university level with emphasis (unofficial minors) in Science,
Creative Writing and Spanish; also have mechanical background (seven years as millwright/pipe
mechanical worker), so, I understand shutdowns, firsthand.
Synopsis
I returned three years ago from Russia, having worked as a professor at three universities,
where I taught American Culture and Management/Leadership principles to advanced English
speakers. I love teaching/training and also have office skills, and have used those skills since
2006 in working with Chinese delegates, working as a first tier contractor with Global UniSource
for the University of Houston’s Center for Public Policy and Technology Department.
In addition to the above-mentioned office skills, I am also skilled in the “blue collar” disciplines of
carpentry (worked as a carpenter in Aghanistan for KBR in 2004), field machinist/millwright
(robots for Daimler Chrysler and turbines and various hydraulics, pumps and motor installations
for GE/Westinghouse and Seimens in various cities in the USA) and in the petrochemical
machinery maintenance for major oil refineries such as Exxon, Lyondell-Citgo, Chevron, etc.
along the Houston Port crude oil inlet.
These skills, along with those useful for handyman and housing construction trade abilities, make
it possible for me to assist field missionaries in a variety of situations. Of particular interest to me
would be the installation of “clean water” projects in remote living areas.
My reporter and office communications skills make it possible for me to help in an administrative
capacity. I also type about 50 words per minute.

Note: Many odd jobs – 13 in all – were done during a four-month period from June 2009 to
September 2009 because of an unavailability of work as Program Coordinator with Chinese
delegates. The suspension was enacted because of a medical prohibition on traveling
mandated the Chinese government as a response to the dangers of swine flu. On Sept. 4 th,
2009, my Program Coordinator position resumed normal operations. Other jobs included
during this time were several house sitting/pet sitting jobs, repairs to the landlord’s various
rental properties, the starting of a motorized bicycle micro-business, various carpentry jobs,
and various transportation/delivery jobs. I try to stay busy! The sometimes unpredictable
nature of my work with/for Chinese delegates, due to their public policies, is a major reason for
my seeking new employment.
