EXPERIENCE:
2003 - 2010 Ken's Drafting Service - Novato, CA
Architectural Drafting, for commercial buildings and
private home owner. Providing a complete set of the
drawings per the California Building Code and applicable
City/County building codes required for acquiring the
Building Permit.
2001 - 2003 Lail Design Group - St. Helena, CA
Architectural Drafting, creating As-Build drawings of homes, wineries
and other types of buildings for remodel projects,
performed surveys of wineries for compliance to ADA
specifications, worked with project architects to produce
the final set of drawings for projects to be submitted for
approval.
2000 - 2001 Triad / Holmes Associates - Napa, CA
Performed drafting for topographic surveys, construction grading
plans, and site exhibit maps. Position required the
interpretation of data gathered by the surveyor and, with
that information, drafting into map format and onto the
completed construction grading plan, under the direction of
a licensed engineer.
1987 - 1999 McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company - Long Beach, CA
Technical Write skilled in reading and interpreting engineering
blueprints and schematics. Job duties included
collaborating with engineering, technicians and
manufacturing personnel to write the assembly and
installation instructions and providing assembly
illustrations for the T-45 and C-17 aircraft
1985 - 1987 Hughes Aircraft Company - El Segundo, CA
Research and Development Technical Writer skilled in reading and
interpreting engineering blueprints and schematics. Able
to collaborate with engineering, and working technicians to
write assembly instruction for the F-15D radar assembly and
various other projects.

Supervisory:
Shop Supervisor instructing personnel in the field of Aviation
Hydraulics. Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of
the Airframes Division, prioritizing aircraft maintenance,
training assignments, problem solving and assessing needs.
Assistant NCOIC Survival, Evasion, Resistance to
interrogation, Escape (SERE) School, instructing survival
first aid, certifying aircrew swimming qualifications and
school operations. Maintenance Control Supervisor, assuring
consistency of aircraft operational readiness, safety and

EDUCATION/
TRAINING: Completed classes in AutoCAD at California State San Bernardino
and MTI College, BS Degree in Business Management from the
University of Phoenix.
