Animal Rescue Foundation (711 S Wilkinson St., Milledgeville, GA)

Volunteer (January 2008-May 2008)

Duties include walking dogs, socializing cats, helping with the adoption process, assisting with

matching up animals with potential owners, and occasionally assisting with cleaning crates,

food/water bowls, and also making sure the animals had enough water/food.

Baldwin County Animal Control/Have a Heart Save a Life program ( 1365 Orchard Hill Rd.

Milledgeville, GA)

Volunteer (January 2010-June 2010)

Duties include assisting with Baldwin County Animal Control with getting animals

adopted/fostered, walking/socializing dogs, assisting with authorized personnel with giving sick

animals medication (such as holding the animal down, ect), cleaning kennels and crates, cleaning

dishes/cat and dog bowels, making sure animals are clean, and have food/water, and also assisting

with the adoption process and helping potential owners are matched up accordingly, ect. Have a

Heart Save a Life is a local organization that helps animals with getting adopted/fostered to save

from “death row.” If animals do not get adopted, potential owners have the opportunity to foster a

cat or dog for a week in order to prevent from being euthanized.
