Profile

I am a qualified Tool Jig and Die Maker with 20 years experience in the

plastic, press tools, blanking and forming tools and die cast industry. Due

to my experience and knowledge I was offered a position at R E Phelon and

immigrated with my family to the USA.

2006-present

Creating models in Solid Edge and transferring to Edge Cam to create a

program for the lathes, EDM and milling machines. Setting up of lathes,

EDMs and milling machines. Building of new tools and maintenance of

existing tools. Standing in for team lead when necessary. Assisting

production with set up of tooling and trouble shooting.Problem solving.

First aid and adult CPR- AED representative. Licensed fork truck driver

2001-2006

Manufacturing and maintenance of tools in the plastic plumbing and

packaging industry. Developing of prototypes from drawing board to

production. Operated all machinery required in the tool making industry.

Standby by for breakdowns. First aid representative and fire marshall.

Certified overhead crane operator. Successfully completed and Edge Cam

advanced training course.

1997 - 2000 Manufacturing and

maintenance of blanking tools, jigs and fixtures. Assisted in set up of

dies and trouble shooting in production department. Team leader in tool

department.

Manufacturing and maintenance of dies for plastic and press tooling used in

the manufacture of household appliances. As well as jigs and fixtures and

Jig and Die maker. Manufactured and maintained plastic injection moulds,
