JIC-250 Jackup: 2007

JIC-250 is a Jack-up drilling unit for 250ft operating water depth and 20,000ft drilling depth with cantilever skid range

40x20ft. My task was to do the scantling design of hull, leg, spudcan, jacking house, cantilever and substructure, drill

floor, deck house and so on. I led the structural team to do the global and local analysis including strength, leg

buckling and plate buckling with software ANSYS and SACS.

CJ-46 Jackup: 2008

CJ-46 is a jack-up drilling platform for 375ft operating water depth and 30,000ft drilling depth. My work was on the

detail structural design of main hull, cantilever, deckhouse, leg and spud-can etc..

SDU-1502 Semisubmersible Drilling Platform: 2008

SDU-1502 is a Semi-submersible Platform for 1830m water depth and 10,000m drilling depth. My mission on the

project was to do scantling design of pontoon, column, upper hull, drill floor and so on. I led structural team to do

global and local analysis including strength and buckling with software ANSYS.

BTU-80 Tender Barge: 2008

BTU-80 is a tender barge unit providing tender operation in mild environment. My work on the project was to do

scantling design and the structure analysis.

JIC-300D Jackup: 2009

JIC-300D is Jack-up drilling unit for 300ft water depth and 25000ft drilling depth with cantilever skid range 60x30ft.

My task was to do scantling design of hull, leg, spudcan, jacking house, cantilever and substructure, drill floor,

deckhouse and so on. I led the structural team to do the global and local structural analysis including strength, leg

buckling and hull bucking.

FDD-232 Floating Dry Dock Design: 2009

This dry dock is 230m long, 60m wide and 19.5m high with two cranes of 20mtx40m. Its lifting capacity is 20,000mt.

My work on the project was to do scantling design of pontoon, decks, wings and crane.

NPCC SEP450-Self-Propelled Jackup Vessel: 2010

This project is a wind farm installation vessel for 280ft water depth with four triangular lattice legs, 280t primary crane

and 50t auxiliary crane. My task on the project was the detail design of primary structure and outfitting, including

platforms hull decks, crane foundations, tanks and equipment foundations.

CNOOC Offshore LNG Terminal: 2010

This project is a conceptual Design of CNOOC LNG offshore terminal. My task was to develop the design basis and

LNG FSRU configuration and to write the general report and topic study report, LNG unloading system for offshore

applications.

CNCP Study of Jackup Rig Operation on Persian Gulf: 2010

This study includes five parts, jacking down and lowering the unit, field transiting, going on location and

jacking up, preloading and potential issues and precaution. I worked as a person in charge on this project.

1988 – 2006 Huagang Communications Design and Research Institute, Hunan, China

Principal Engineer

2005 – 2006 Heishipu Xiangjiang River Bridge

The structure type of the bridge is continuous arch of three spans made of steel tube filled with concrete.

The span is 102 m + 144 m + 102 m. My work in the project was project manger of construction

inspection and analysis in installation.

2004 – 2003 Xiangjiang River Bridge on Wuyi Road

This was a project for upgrading the old bridge. The structure type is pre-stressed concrete continuous

beam with span 20+46+24 meter. I played a role of project manager of design of rehabilitation of the

bridge.

2002– 2001 Tanshao Express Highway Crossover Bridge

There are two steel bridges on this express highway and the spans are 60, 72 meter, respectively. The one

with span of 72m is an arch structure of steel tube filled with concrete and the other structure is a steel

arch. My work on the project was design and analysis of the structure.

2000 Gaoqiao Steel Bridges

This bridge is a supported cable structure with span of 60 meter and made of steel. My work on the

project was design and analysis to structure of the bridge.

1996-1999 Shuyuanlu Viaduct

This is a large scale viaduct with bridge area more than 50,000 square meters, made of reinforced

concrete. I worked on the project as a project manager and the structural engineer.

1995 Shenzhen Plastic Model Factory

There are a cluster of workshops made of steel structure with span of 24 meters on the worksite, total

workshop area of 40,000 square meters. My work on the project was basic design and detail design as a

structure engineer.

1991-1992 Taizimiao Bridge

The structure type of this bridge is spatial arch made of steel tube filled with concrete with span 92

meters. My work on the project was to complete basic and detail design as a structure engineer.

1990 Jinfan Mansion

This is an 18~story reinforcement concrete shear wall structure with 24,000square meters. I worked on

structural analysis and design as a structural engineer.

1989 Complex buildings of Qongzhong Transportation Center

There are a cluster of 8~12-story framework buildings made of reinforcement concrete with total area of

more than 80,000 square meters. I worked on basic design and detail design as a structural engineer.

1982 to 1983 Second Heavy Machinery Group of China, Sichuan, China,

In this period, I worked as structural engineer on the project of a factory workshop with steel structure

and the total area of 10,000 square meters.
