As a business development manager and originator of tax-exempt
debt, responsibilities include developing private label programs
and loan programs for tax-exempt entities and vendors across the
United States. The development of over 50 vendor relationships
within legal, energy, broadband, engineering, water, wastewater,
real estate and rolling stock marketplaces. In development, my
network across the United States also includes the Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development on a local and national level.
Originated and closed over 150 tax-exempt issues to date worth
close to $60,000,000 in total financings.
Skill sets acquired: Cursory review of credits and business
model feasibility with experience in lease, note, and bond
calculations and financial analysis. Water and Wastewater
Authority rate analysis, Wireless, Fiber to the Home, Satellite
Networking, and Solar/Hydroelectric business modeling.
Municipal capital improvement and fleet rotation plans. A guest
speaker at the AGLF (Association of Government Leasing
Financiers), PMAA (Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities
Association), and numerous municipal and state board functions.

Broadband Holdings LLC, Denver, Colorado (2004-2006)
Sales / Business development for one of the first true IP
(internet protocol) video broadcast networks focused on the MDU
(multi-dwelling unit) for Quadruple play networks.
Peakspeed Communications, Breckenridge, Colorado (6 months)
On behalf of the Federal bankruptcy courts and the State of
Colorado, performed due diligence of a Tri-State wireless
broadband network based in Breckenridge, Colorado, and Arizona.
Peakspeed was a public/private partnership which used State of
Colorado General Fund "Bean-pole" funds to develop rural
broadband. At the time, Peakspeed was the largest wireless
broadband project in the United States.
East West Partners, Edwards, Colorado (6 months)
On behalf of East West Partners (a resort developer based in
Beaver Creek) assisted in the planning of a Fiber to the Home
Development Project in Truckee/Donner, California.
Echostar Communications Corporation (DISH), Englewood, Colorado (December
2002-April 2004)
MDU Channel Manager: Signed under contract over 7,000 Right of
Entry agreements in First Quarter 2004. Business development
functions include: management of Echostar's commercial MDU
(multi-dwelling unit) channel program and PCO (Private Cable
Operator) program which included video transport aggregation,
content rights, and infrastructure feasibility.
Echostar Broadband: At Echostar, involved in the IPTV strategy
which became Echostar's "Broadband Group". The broadband group
was responsible for forming partnerships with the
telco/satellite triple play such as: Century Tel, Alcatel, SBC,
and Bell Canada. Wrote business plans for various cutting edge
technologies which include one of the first IPTV multicast video
distribution systems using 8 live business channels streaming to
the PC for Morgan Stanley's Headquarters.
Governor's Office of Innovation and Technology, Denver Colorado (October
2000-November 2002)
Business Development/Consultant: Worked under Marc Holtzman and
performed administrative and business development duties for the
OIT (Office of Information Technology). Performed Due Diligence
on a "last mile" solution for rural communities across Colorado.
For the State of Colorado, wrote the request for information
(RFI) and business models around wireless broadband for the
multi-use telecommunications network (MNT). Sold the MNT
network concept to city councils across Colorado's county seats.
SpectraLink Corporation, Boulder, Colorado (July 1997-October 2000)
National Account Manager, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (April 1999-
October 2000)
Exceeded sales quota of $1.25 Million with one sale which became one
of the first wireless systems to integrate data, voice, and
paging onto one platform. The companies stock jumped after
announcement. Managed and developed retail national accounts
such as: Royal Ahold, The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company,
The Limited, Kroger, and Hudson Bay Co. 1 of 5 sales people
(out of 30) responsible for over 46% of SpectraLink revenues.
During tenure stock had increased by 1,400%.
Reseller Account Management/New Account Coordinator, Boulder,
Colorado Boulder, Colorado
Responsible for evaluating and signing up new distribution
channels in North America. Led team of 15 in prospecting to
Fortune 1000 accounts setting up meetings with Executives with
37 Fortune 1,000 prospects in the period of 2 months. Managed
MTS and Bell Canada (Canadian Telecom Providers).
Alpine Research Inc. (Zardoz Notwax), Boulder, Colorado (May 1996 -
May 1997)
Sales and distribution for new concept flour polymer "Liquid
Teflon" ski wax. Set up dealer, distribution channels, and
traveling promotions.

Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Psychology. On the
"Metrics" and "Application" committees for the US National
Broadband Strategy Coaltion (Washington DC). Graduate work with
CU's Interdisciplinary Telecom program in Boulder. On committee
for the "Sustainable Culture Group"- (Boulder, Colorado). In
summer of 1996, Experience clerking Eurodollar futures at
Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Extra
Very active in tennis, golf, skiing, and cycling, recently swam
the "Sharkfest" from Alcatraz to the bay in 50 minutes.
Participate in numerous fund raising events across Colorado such
as: "Ride the Rockies", "Triple-by-pass", "Jan-o thon", and the
"Boulder Boulder". Previous hobby is video production for the
following notable events: The 2001 Stanley Cup (Game 7), Bill
Gaither's "America the Beautiful", and production manager for
the Colorado Segment of the award winning Nike commercial "Move"
