I was hired by CMT as Production Control Manager. My job duties included
reviewing all quotes to verify available shop load capacity. Scheduling all new jobs and releasing them
to the floor. Ensuring that all jobs are completed at each operation on time. Balancing shop
load to ensure productivity and ensure on-time delivery. Working with Contract Administration
on any changes to Customer needs as well as receiving feedback as to Customer concerns.
Working with Quality to ensure that all products made are 100% within tolerance of customer
and industry standards. Studying trends in order to forecast demands 6 to 9 months in advance.

I was hired by Delta (later Rexam) Plastics as Production Scheduler. My job duties included receiving
all new customer orders, calculating and ordering all raw materials, purchase order generation, scheduling
of the orders, and work order issue to the production floor. I was responsible for scheduling 84 injection
molding machines, 6 labeling machines, and 5 offset printing machines for 24 hour production. I analyzed
inventory reports and sales trends for long term planning and scheduling. I monitored stock levels for 2
warehouses in Hot Springs and 1 in our La Mirada, California warehouse. I interacted with Customer
Service on a daily basis to update order progress, answer technical questions, provide customers with
feedback, and identify ordering trends. I received all completed work orders from the floor and informed
customer service reps that their orders were ready for shipment.

Operations Manager 6/99-5/02
As Operations ManagerI was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 24 hour/7 day
a week production facility. I scheduled all production and packaging as well as shipments.
I made decisions on the cooking parameters of several versions of instant and IQF rices. I also
was responsible for the collection and analysis of all production data. I kept detailed
spreadsheets
that analyzed yields, throughputs, volume, downtime, and overall efficiency. I also tracked waste
numbers and found ways to reduce it. The plant ran at just over 120% efficiency during my
tenure.
I wrote budgets and kept up with all spending against those budgets and analyzed and explained
any variances. I was responsible for being prepared for State Health Department, AIB, and
Rabbinical plant inspections at all times. The plant received Superior AIB ratings from every
inspection during my tenure. I was responsible for all inventory tracking, evaluation, and
reconciliation. I dealt with all personnel issues including hiring, firing, coaching and work
schedules. I worked extensively with MS Excel programs.

While serving as QA Manager I was responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of all
QA Techs, setting and maintaining all QA programs and testing procedures, reviewing all
daily QA data to ensure adherence to specification, performing HACCP audits and follow-ups,
performing all in-house microbiological testing, performing research and development of
new products as well as bringing these products to actual production. I was also a member
of the AC Humko Corporate Quality Council.

I worked for the U of A in both the Entomology and Agronomy Departments. As a member
of the Entomology department I was responsible for the application of experimental
chemicals on field research plots. I was responsible for the collection and analysis
of data from the experiments. I de-linted, sorted, and distributed seeds for field
testing to various university research facilities. I oversaw a team of 4-8 technicians
depending on
the season. As a member of the Agronomy Department I worked in the Soil Testing
Lab. I was responsible for the application of fertilizer on cotton fertility plots. I
collected
and analyzed all field data from pre-plant to harvest. I was responsible for the supervision
of 5-10 field technicians.
