responsible for accurately and quickly inputting data received on UB92 and
HICFA claim forms. Customer Service Rep duties included answering inbound
member and provider calls to explain medical benefits and provide claim
status. As a Claims Examiner, I reviewed each incoming claim and either
processed or denied based on contract benefits. Finally, as
Membership/Premium Specialist, I was responsible for maintaining member
eligibility and billing records and performed monthly audits to locate
discrepancies in payments received.
