I am a professional senior software developer that designs and develops n-tier web and windows applications using

VB.net and C# within Visual Studio 2010. I aspire to design and develop applications using WPF or Silverlight on my next

position while specializing as an UI/UX developer. I have vast experience programming and designing applications using

the following programming languages; VB2-VB6, VB.net and C#. I have also programmed using GW Basic, Quick Basic,

My last assignment allowed me to work on a medium size win-form application using VS2010 and TFS2008. My previous

position allowed me to work on a large ASP.net application (using the Model View Presenter (MVP) pattern on the front

end that consumed WCF web services from the application servers). The application servers provided WCF web services

to be published so the web clients could access the application layer which included the service layer, assembler layer,

domain layer, data access layer / N-Hibernate 2.0 ORM (Object Relational Mapping) layer to serve up the data from the

bottom layer to the service layer on top.

I have experience writing N-Unit 2.0 unit test cases for the presenter, assembler and DAO layers. I have work with various

code repositories including the following; PVCS, Visual Source Safe, TFS 2005, TFS 2010 and SVN.

I am an avid reader of software technology including books on WPF and Silverlight technologies, C# patterns, and

software architecture. This background and experience makes me a well rounded programmer and employee. I am

interested in developing new applications using WPF and Silverlight technologies. I would be interested in Visual Basic

conversion projects to the C# language (WPF or Silverlight). I have several areas of interests including rapid application

development using code generation (Code-Dom). Other areas that interest me are ORM with Entity Framework and WCF

web services. I would like to move more into building WPF/Silverlight XAML GUI screens and user controls using

Expression Blend and other expression studio tools. I’m currently writing a code generator application using WPF, Code-

Dom and the schema API to generate DTO/DO classes based on the database schema. I plan to create another code

generator that generates the GUI XAML screens based on each schema tables in a database.

Previous to my software experience I worked in electronics for the USAF and ITT Defense. I have about nine years

technical experience using computer controlled Electronic Warfare Systems including software controlled test systems

and systems integration.
