Project Summary: Worked at the client's site, on a fixed price project

called Employment Resources Information Center (ERIC), for Ohio Department

of Jobs and Family Services. ERIC was developed as a web application using

JAVA to automate the process of Unemployment-Insurance (UI) tax collection.

The new web application has replaced legacy mainframe application and is

built to serve both internal users and external end-users. The new

application went Live on September 7, 2010 and has been running

successfully since then. The application received positive feedback from

all stakeholders and team's work has been recognized and appreciated by the

Governor of State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

. Provided subject matter expertise for core modules of the system -

Monetary Payments and Monetary Accounting

. Customer interface for requirements, design and development of

business items

. GAP analysis between legacy system and the new application, between

the old and new documentation deliverables and implemented application

with the most recent documentation deliverables

. Facilitated JAD sessions with the stakeholders for new, missing or

ambiguous requirements using simple and advanced elicitation

techniques
