Work History:
2003 - 2010: The North Shore Properties Group. Director of Administrative
Services/Office Manager. Worked independently for principal owners of a
start-up company. Completely responsible for running daily operations of
an entrepreneurial office. Sales/marketing duties include: designed
layout, photographed sites and prepared rough copy of company brochure,
designed and prepared investment portfolio, prepared and distributed
proposal packages to prospective tenants in national & regional shopping
centers, marked lease plans and tracked lease expirations, negotiated
renewal lease terms for kiosk tenants, prepared marketing reports, spread
sheets and researched competitive market surveys. Accounting duties
include: maintaining/balancing company checking account, paying monthly
office expenses, i.e., rent, phone bills, health insurance, payroll, etc.
Administrative duties include: safeguarding phone inquiries, coordinating
conference calls, preparing proposal cover documents to retailers,
establishing and maintaining ICSC convention schedules.
1993 - 2003: Urban Retail Properties. Executive Assistant to
CEO/President and Executive Vice President of Leasing (Sales). At the time
of tenure, Urban was the third largest shopping center developer in the
United States. This position had extensive phone interaction with CEO's
and Presidents of other retail corporations. Acted as liaison between
CEO/President and corporate retailer executives, as well as, internal
department heads. Processed lease proposals for tenants on a national
level and produced a monthly sales report. Attended annual-national
shopping center conventions in Las Vegas and New York (ICSC) while
coordinating booth activities/schedules. Handled both business and
personal travel arrangements for CEO. Responsible for CEO's calendar,
personal banking, personal financial statement, and heavy phone screening.
Coordinated regional leasing portfolio meetings with national retailers.
Supervised receptionist and coordinated her desk duties.
1990 - 1993: JMB/Urban Properties. Executive Assistant to Executive
Vice President/Regional Manager of JMB's retail/office properties in the
Chicago area. Processed leases for tenants and maintained files for
Chicago region shopping centers and office buildings. Performed
administrative duties i.e. travel arrangements, expense reports, screening
phone calls and interfaced with property managers of regional shopping
centers. Responsible for the billing of legal fees created from bankrupt
or delinquent tenants. Maintained all bankruptcy files.
1985 -1989: First Atlantic Investment Corp. Office Manager/Executive
Assistant to Principal/Executive Vice President as well as four investment
brokers specializing in limited partnerships. Responsible for all
administrative and secretarial duties, in addition to the management of
office ("jack-of-all-trades"). Also performed prospective sales calls
(telemarketing).
1980 -1984: Federal Reserve Bank. Executive Secretary to Sr. Vice
President and Vice President of Computer Operations Department. Scheduled
all appointments, coordinated all travel arrangements, attended weekly
inter-departmental meetings, responsible for transcription of meeting
minutes for and setting up department conferences.
