Owens Community College, Findlay campus, Fall 2008 - Fall 2010 .
Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics. Courses taught include College
Algebra, Mathematics of Finance, and Principles of Economics. Completed
the ESQOI training for on-line teaching.
Terra Community College, Fremont, OH, Spring 2010-Summer 2010. Adjunct
Instructor of Mathematics. Courses taught: Intermediate Trigonometry
and Math for the Trades.
Tiffin University, Fall 2009 - Spring 2010. Adjunct Instructor of
Mathematics/Statistics.
Courses taught include College Mathematics and Applied Statistics.
Bowling Green State University, 2005-2009. Full-time Instructor and
Course Coordinator of
Math 128/130 (Precalculus). Coordination involved supervision of 8-15
classroom sections in any given semester. Specific duties included
writing common syllabi, exams, final exam, quizzes, conducting classroom
observations and guiding instructors/teaching assistants in course
procedures. Membership on the Foundational Math Committee improved upon
this supervision through refinement of course procedures, alignment of
curriculum across math courses, monitoring D/F/WF rates, and solving
problems in consultation with other course coordinators. Passing rates
in Precalculus improved 3% during my supervision over the previous 11-
year average.
Additional courses taught at BGSU: Math 131 and Math 134 (Calculus &
Analytic Geometry),
Math 126 (Basic Calculus) and Math 115 (Basic Statistics).
Bluffton University, 2004-2005. Adjunct faculty member teaching
Business Calculus, Public Finance, Understanding Numerical Data.
Updated the curriculum guide for BCOMP Statistics course. Served as
statistics tutor (Research & Statistical Methods course) for working
adult students in the accelerated-degree program, BCOMP.
University of Findlay, 2004-2005. Adjunct faculty member; taught
Precalculus and Basic Calculus.
Ursuline College, Cleveland, OH, 1999-2002. Adjunct faculty member in
the accelerated-degree
program, UCAP, designed for working adults seeking a business management

Summary of Duties:
o Development of aggregate and item-level sales forecasts for hundreds of
inventoried products
amounting to millions of dollars in sales. This required writing
computer programs in the
languages of FORTRAN and BASIC as well as developing complex
spreadsheets and pro forma
financial statements.
