EXPERIENCE
BAE Systems Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota
2008 - 2010
Project Engineer/Scientist, Advanced Armaments Group (Research and
Development)
BAE Systems Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota 2004 -
2008
Sr. Engineer/Scientist, Advanced Armaments Group (Research and Development)
. Project engineer leader, manager, and designer, responsible for many
very large capital construction projects as well as product
development. These projects have included the integration of a 10-
meter, 5 axis, Ingersoll milling machine into building plans and
facility design. I was the company point of contact
for installation. Designed and supplied engineering
technical support to the construction firms to insure
the schedule was met.
. Sole designer of a BAE Systems, Inc, Manufacturing facility in
Cordova, Alabama. This included power requirements specification and
working with internal and external electricians and utilities and
substation requirements as well as equipment placement and safety
requirements
. Designed the MEVT (Mission Equipment Vibration Table), the largest
shaker in the world, for reliability testing of large components. (6
DOF capable) in the world.
. Designed the LAH (Large Armament Hammer) to simulate Gun recoil and
it's affects on other equipment used by TACOM, ARDEC and the Navy for
reliability improvement testing under the Future Combat Systems and
other contracts.
. Chairman's Award: For the Innovative design and integration at the
Cordova manufacturing facility.
. Cadre of Distinction Award: Army Programs, for Design of the Mission
Equipment Vibration Table (MEVT) and
the Large Armament Hammer.
