I am looking to contribute and expand my education as a pharmacy technician with a rewarding career at The Ohio

State Medical Center Pharmacy. I have 560 hours of preparation and class time as well as 160 hours as a pharmacy

extern.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Knowledge of professional ethics and pharmacy law

Education in dosage calculations, including special populations such as pediatric and geriatric

Pharmacy safety and compliance training, including hazardous spill clean up

Educational background strong in human anatomy and physiology

Experience in records management and inventory control

Experience in preparing and distribution of medications in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and physical dexterity to manipulate intravenous products

Transcribe prescriptions and doctors orders with precision and accuracy

Knowledge of medications, dosages and storage procedures in the inpatient setting.

Firm understanding of packing medication carts, Pyxis machines and robot machines
