Developed several tutorials for new software features for a dot release and
two migration tutorials to assist users of legacy software move to the

transition, to include student guides, instructor guides, and Captivate

Developed and maintained user, installation, system administration,
security, release guides and online help for Eclipsys healthcare products
which led to improved customer satisfaction. Documentation is used by end
users, system administrators, implementation consultants, and other
healthcare professionals.
Created a wiki using MediaWiki for an integration application to better
disseminate information, reduce page counts, and produce more timely
updates without waiting for the next documentation cycle.
Instrumental in developing the delivery of documentation on CD-ROM using
Adobe Acrobat and in creating a standard interface for the customer to
access the PDFs. This interface became the standard documentation delivery
platform for Eclipsys documentation company-wide.
Supervised two North American and one offshore resource. Trained resources,
made work assignments, and performed other administrative duties. Together
we maintained over 7500 pages of documentation, including the medical
record management software, the radiological information software, two
decision support systems, and an interface engine that allows disparate
systems to communicate bi-directionally with Eclipsys software using
standard HL7 messaging.
Wrote a training guide for new writers using the Eclipsys template,
FrameMaker, and Acrobat. This guide contained procedures for converting
Word files to FrameMaker, tagging guidelines, as well as tips and
troubleshooting production problems. This guide reduced training for new
writers and provided a ready reference for experienced writers.

application in an object-oriented environment. Supported 11 programmer-

Designed and developed all documentation associated with an in-house
developed call tracking software, including user guides, software
requirement specifications, design modification specifications, readme
files, and installation notes. This call tracking system was used by both
software and hardware technical support organizations.
Wrote documentation for the GUI developed for software running under
Windows NT. The GUI had the same level of documentation as the older UNIX
interface.
Developed training documentation, lesson plans, and class materials for
various hardware components of Intergraph systems, including field
maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of both mechanical and electronic
subsystems.

Revised and rewrote technical manuals for U.S. Navy (Hull, Machinery, and
