For the last seven years I have been working with the international student
and adult travel company Rustic Pathways. While quickly rising to the title
of Director my areas of responsibility have included new business
development, domestic and international sales, customer relationship
management and marketing. Living primarily in Asia, my work in these and
other areas has been instrumental in developing Rustic Pathways into a
global leader.
Manager of Global Sales
. Led inside sales of global educational travel programs for high school
students, groups, families, and college students with annual revenue
of $15 million in 2009-2010
. Responsible for largest US sales territory (NYC & Tri-State) with
annual revenue of $3 million, achieved by providing excellent sales
support and customer service to a demanding client base through sales
presentations both at clientele's homes and educational travel fairs
. Quintupled Rustic Pathways' annual revenue over five year period
through the development of new Asian programs and outstanding sales

. Created five Rustic Pathways catalogs (200+ pages), including editing
all photos and text while also serving as liaison with international
publisher in annual production of 50,000 catalogs
. Created, marketed and managed numerous customized family, adult and
school-led programs across various countries in APAC

. Created a new division of travel programs with annual revenue of $2.5
million across 21 countries
. Designed and executed diverse educational, community service, and
adventure travel programs throughout China, Vietnam, and Thailand with
an annual revenue of $5 million after executing all field research,
safety analysis, logistical and financial planning, and marketing
. Recruited and managed a staff team of over 30 individuals, including
local staff & foreign nationals while maintaining responsibility for
annual safety and global movements of 300 clients
