Objective

Seeking a position as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager with a progressive company

Summary

Unique professional with strong analytical and problem solving skills that support project and

business objectives. Have performed auditing, recordkeeping, reporting, monitoring, permitting,

and training. Areas of management include Title V Air Permit, hazardous materials, wastewater,

ergonomics, stormwater, Personal Protective Equipment, waste minimization, workers

compensation, and energy conservation.

Project management included environmental permitting and installation of a 750,000-gallon

ethanol storage tank, and remediation of a metal plating facility. Corrected the Title V Air Permit at

Middlebury Hardwood Products, which reduced the reported Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)

emissions by fifteen tons. Utilized a low VOC solvent that reduced emissions by thirty percent.

Conducted numerous inspections and audits of various industrial facilities. Participated in ISO

14001 Lead Auditor training. Developed an audit database at National-Standard Company to

track follow-up and corrective actions for nine metal plating facilities. In addition, have also

coordinated the inspection of facilities by federal, state, and local agencies.

Performed numerous presentations and training seminars to multiple staff levels and many outside

groups. Training included topics on Hazardous Communications, Process Safety Management,

ISO 14000, confined space entry, Lockout/Tagout, ergonomics, and waste minimization.
