Dear Hiring Manager,
I have a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and am very interested in your company,
and want to fill a need you may have for a pharmacist position. Along with
your company being very professional and highly recommended, I like how
your pharmacists offer outstanding services and personalized patient care.
Not only am I a Certified Immunizer, but one day would like to become a
Certified Diabetes Educator. My hard work and self learning have a tendency
to pay off because I take my time to get things done correctly and
accurately. In addition to being trustworthy, I am also well respected
because I like to always keep an open mind. I have been able to establish
and maintain excellent relationships with co-workers from the fact that I
have held part and full-time positions for long time frames, which have
enabled me to gain a realistic view of the demands and challenges of the
pharmacy profession. In addition to being a staff pharmacist I have also
been a pharmacy manager, so am well rounded and have seen all sides of
functioning pharmacies.
Please consider me as a possible candidate for a position with your
company. If I don't hear back from you soon, I will contact you at a later
date. Feel free to contact me with any questions that may arise.
Sincerely,
Ashley I. Fredrick

Judy Wilcox, Pharmacy Manager (location change)
Starting out as staff took pharmacy orders and
requested refills from healthcare provider
offices. Filled prescriptions as well as
verified and checked technician work. Learned
to tackle and master the computer system and
use Excel to help run daily business. Took
third party questions/rejections, and problem
solved them by calling and learning different
party regulations. Customer service is a
priority and recommendations are made (OTC and
cost alternatives) to patients as well as to
medical professionals. Became a trained
immunizer and over the past few years have
given over 1,500 vaccinations. Healthcare
screenings are also provided; blood samples
from finger pricks are administered and sent
off for testing. As results are received we
discuss with patients the number significance.
At our location we also have some Delmar Garden
nursing home patients and we take their orders
and package the medications accordingly.
Deliveries are organized for patients in nearby
apartment complexes and the disabled.
As pharmacy manager in addition to all the
staff responsibilities, help oversee the store
operation. Customer concerns are handled and
the rest of the pharmacy staff trained and
daily tasks assigned. Staff schedules are also
made according to pharmacy earned hours for
support. Inventory is also managed as well as
other estimated and actual pharmacy commitment
numbers provided. Also narcotics are ordered
and maintained. In December was the first
pharmacy manager within company to supervise a
store relocation due to a new facility being
built. Old patient information were dealt with,
files/inventory moved, and one pharmacy was
shut down and another reopened the next day.
New licenses and accounts were set up, and
technical support was observed. New clients and
increased business have been a prioritized
goal. According to customers is a well trusted
and knowledgeable healthcare professional.
