the markets that occurred during my employment, to help
make sells and bring in new customers.

THE ONE GROUP ADVERTISING

May 2007 - September 2008
At the One Group I started off doing things like placing together different
packages and invitations that involved complex assembly work. I worked in
photoshop to help with projects that needed editing work. I enjoyed
assisting designers whenever I could. I did administrative and front desk
work. Upon graduation in May 2008, I was offered a full time summer
employment with The One Group. They needed a team leader for a Gatorade
promotional tour. This tour took me through fourteen states and over 100
cities. From May 21st through September 7th. During these sampling events
had Nintendo Wii demonstrations to add interest to the Gatorade products.
Sales at the stores we sampled for Gatorade went up 30% - 150% after our
event.

ELLE SCHUSTER (GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR/PHOTOGRAPHER)
Intern
Dallas, TX
May 2003 - May 2003
I attained an internship in a profession that was exciting to me. I have
always been interested in illustration so I choose to work as an assistant
to a woman named Elle Schuster, an internationally recognized designer and
photographer. While working for her I organized her archive onto CD's and
arranged them in a way she could easily go back to any project she needed.
I also proudly preformed the errands and work that would be associated to
the term "gopher".
CATINA FERRIAN
Intern
Dallas, TX
June 1999 - August 1999
I have passion for fashion. During the summer after eighth grade (not for
credit) I interned for a local fashion designer. I learned how to use an
industrial sewing machine, embroidery and bead work. I also cut out
patterns, steamed and iron dresses. For customers custom fittings I would
record measurements. At the end of day I did what was needed -- cleanup,
sweeping and taking out the trash.
Education
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS
BFA Printmaking
Denton, TX
2008
While enrolled at UNT, I majored in traditional methods in printmaking. As
a part of my education I studied book making. During this class I learned
different methods of sewing the blocks together as well as perfect bind. I
made a few soft back and hard back covers to showcase my art.. This
exploration lead me to pursue an internship with a bindery. I still pursue
my dreams in fine art, but bookbinding is one of my passions. My experience
with book making showed me another pursuit that brings me great tranquility
and a real sense gratification.
