PROJECTS:
Design of QPSK Modem:
Tool: Matlab
Performed MATLAB Simulation of a QPSK Modem. At the modulator
end, the input data was QPSK modulated and passed through a
shaping filter.
Simulated an AWGN plus Multipath environment. Stripped off the
carrier at the Demodulator end using carrier and timing recovery
loops. Designed an equalizer to negate channel effects, detector
and a matched filter to detect the transmitted data.
Magnetic Card Reader using USB Interface 2.0
Tool: Embedded C, VC++,Keil C
Testing Performed: Module tests, Hardware Tests and Software
tests.
Designed a security project using the magnetic card reader for
the human recognition with the help of JTAG and ARM 7 controller.
Railway Reservation system:
Tool: Visual Basic
Built a reservation system for Booking tickets, Canceling
Reservation, Viewing the tickets available and Railway Timetable.
White LED Using Solar Energy (Achieved National level Technical
festival Award in 2006)
Designed a light operating source using White LED's with the help
of Relay network, which was more efficient and cost effective.
Also in the absence of the sun light it could be operated on a
Power supply which was designed from for 3-12 Volts DC supply.
