Mercato Centrale (Italian Delicatessen), Amsterdam, Netherlands
-Designed logo and assisted with interior design. Performed duties such as:
creating P.R. advertisements, painting, framing, designing graphics for web
shop, and general creative consultation. Continue to periodically create
advertisements for Mercato Centrale.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, August 2007-January 2008
Splash Designs-Rolla, Missouri, USA.
-Created graphic designs for t-shirts, signs, banners, stickers, window
decals, etc. Main job was to illustrate designs for customers' concepts.
Also created ads for promotion of the business and answered phones, handed
customer service matters, assisted in the custom embroidery department,
created retail displays, and managed UPS, USPS, and FedEx shipments
(inventory, ordering, re-stocking) when needed.
GALLERY ATTENDANT/RETAIL ASSOCIATE, October 2005-July 2007

-Key responsibilities included: greeting customers, performing retail
duties (selling fine and functional art items such as jewelry, ceramics,

packing/unpacking/shipment of fine artworks (via UPS, FEDEX, USPS, and
DSL), displaying/hanging gallery shows, repainting/repairing walls after
exhibitions, and customer service.
RETAIL ASSOCIATE/CREATIVE CONSULTING, November 2004-March 2005

-Assisted customers in finding the appropriate materials for paper projects
such as bookbinding and card making (many times for special events such as
births, graduations, and weddings), managed registers, wrapped gifts, made
special orders, and participated in creative art demonstrations for

-Checked out and sold photo, audio, and video equipment/supplies and
maintained the photo facilities (opened up, checked and re-stocked
chemicals, and locked up at night). Provided assistance in order to teach
students about certain equipment and photo chemicals. Photo checkout merged
with the new media center checkout of the Kansas City Art Institute after
the summer of 2005.
