. Experienced chemical engineer with over 3 years of supervisory work
experience in academia and Industry.
. Strong interpersonal skills combined with demonstrated analytical and
problem solving skills.
. Good oral and written communication skills.
. A team player able to work with various departments.
. Sound knowledge of Unit Operations, Process Control, Advances in
Catalysis, Material and Energy Balance, Thermodynamics, Distillation,
Bio Chemical Engineering Adsorption, Pinch analysis, Design and
Rating, PFD's, Equipment Sizing
. Proficient with application software: ASPEN PLUS, ASPEN HYSYS, PROII
EDUCATION
. M.S. Chemical Engineering, Lamar University, TX, Dec 2010
(GPA 3.42/4.0)
. B.S. Chemical Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University,
INDIA, Jun 2008 (GPA 3.1/4.0)
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
. Simulation of Ketene: simulated the ketene plant by using ASPEN PLUS
and optimized for better production, Design spec, sensitivity analysis
and optimization were carried out for the process.
. Simulation of ethanol de ethanizer (model identification project on
hysys): For the given Ethylene De-Ethanizer HYSYS file, step test was
performed on the Manipulated Variables then the vector files were
created from step test data. By importing the vector files in step
model identification software, we successfully built a model and
calculated LP cost for each Manipulated Variable.
. Steady State Simulation of Chiller Plant using PRO-II and HYSYS: Raw
Natural Gas is simulated; methane is separated from other components.
Both the PRO-II and Hysys results were compared and found to be the
same.
. Unsteady State Simulation (Dynamic Simulation/ASPEN DYNAMICS): A
distillation column is designed to separate Chlorosilane Mixtures. Set
up a temperature, and level controllers (for the sump and the reflux
drum) to have a stable stripping tower operation under a disturbance
of the flow rate in the stream <FEED1-IN> to achieve required
temperature in the recycle stream
