GE ENERGY/INFRASTRUCTURE 2008 – APR 2010

Senior Contract Performance Manager

Recruited as Senior Contract Performance Manager for a (HDV) high dollar value asset to execute

contract obligations to achieve Financial Operating Plan.

Manage all elements of contract between GE and customer for a gas fired 608 mw 7FA+e 2.6 DLN plus

D11 steam turbine combined cycle generation facility.

Successfully increased contract margin by expanding contract revenue from $87 million to $92 million,

while strategically reducing contract operating cost by $1 million.

KEPPEL ENERGY CORPORATION

General Manager and Legal/Owner’s Representative – Managua, Nicaragua

Responsible for the direction and oversight of all aspects, contracts, budgets, operations and maintenance

of a power generation plant consisting of 125 Spanish speaking full time nationals operating 13 diesel

units.

In depth extensive legal and contract negotiations with government and energy representatives, including

the Minister of Energy; Director of (INE) Instituto Nicaraguense Energia; Director of (ENEL) Empresa

Nicaraguense Energia Electrica.

2006 –2007

TRANSFIELD SERVICES POWER OPERATIONS GROUP

Regional Manager Power Operations and Maintenance – Queensland, Australia

Established clearly defined goals and objectives for the Plant Managers in the efficient, safe and cost

effective operation and management of the Queensland power generation assets for a leading

Multinational Corporation.

Accountable for all aspects of the performance of two Plant Managers and 75 full time employees

operating a 180 MW pulverized coal plant and a 230 MW combined cycle gas fired power generation

plant at separate locations in the State of Queensland.

CMS INTERNATIONAL OPERATING COMPANY 2000 –2006

SENIOR POWER PLANT/PROJECT MANAGER – TAKORADI POWER PROJECT, TAKORADI,

GHANA, AFRICA

Chosen to direct the O&M and long-term strategic initiatives of the 220MW Ghana Joint Venture Project.

Exceeded budgeted net profit target by 12.2%, for the period 2001-2004 through proactive management

of an O&M Contract, PPA, ISA, and GE CSA, resulting in a $22 million increased ROI to the Owners

while skillfully negotiating a 47% cost reduction in equipment, parts, and services.

Instituted Six Sigma, Long-Term Planning, RCA, and Predictive Maintenance programs to reduce outage

time for scheduled maintenance by 48%.

Continuously established and updated OSHA Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations that have

resulted in 1250 consecutive workdays without a lost-time injury or accident.

Implemented the plant’s first Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Developed and

implemented policies, processes, and procedures for operations; maintenance; purchasing; administration;

warehouse inventory; and EHS.

(THREE ASSIGNMENTS)

Power Plant Manager – Alborada Power Project, Escuintla, Guatemala 1999 - 2000

Promoted to supervise the Guatemala Joint Venture Project. Managed a Spanish speaking facility

consisting of 17 full-time and contract nationals operating two GE LM6000 PA liquid fuel units.

SENIOR POWER PLANT MANAGER – MANAUS POWER PROJECT, MANAUS, BRAZIL

1998 –1999

Assigned as Senior Plant Manager for the Manaus, Brazil IPP Project to educate, counsel and supervise a

Portuguese speaking staff of 2 Plant Managers and 42 Brazilian nationals. IPP project consisted of a JV

154MW land-based generation facility and a 100MW power barge.

Selected to oversee the Argentine JV 160MW gas fired Ave Fenix IPP Project. Utilizing expertise of

LM6000 units I led a local staff of 39 Argentine Nationals to rectify severe problems including engine

change. Major correction of the four (4) LM6000 gas units with inlet air chillers took less than 30 days.

Subsequently promoted to manage the Manaus IPP Project.

CHUGACH ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION, INC.

(Two Assignments)

POWER PLANT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - BELUGA, ALASKA 1994 –1998

Promoted to plan and direct daily operations of an investor-owned utility 365MW gas fired power

generation plant located at The Beluga Gas Fields near Cook Inlet Alaska.

The facility consisted of two ABB 11D4 combined cycle trains; two GE 7FB – E simple cycle units; and

two GE F5B simple cycle units. Managed 64 full-time employees at this remote facility.

Supervisor, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling – Anchorage, Alaska 1991 –1994

Planned, scheduled, coordinated, and significantly enhanced the maintenance activities of four power

generation facilities including three gas fired GT facilities plus one hydro facility in separate locations

across Alaska with total production of 496MW.

Successfully designed and developed the Gas Turbine Overhaul Program (GTOP) to satisfy EPRI Project

agreement. The program, both soft and hard copy, provided a step by step document that contained all

procedures, labor resources, and materials inspection/replacements required to perform a Combustion

Inspection, Hot Gas Path Inspection, or Major Overhaul of a GE Frame-7 turbine from unit shutdown

through restart.
