I created a multi-faceted System Implementation Company in Industrial
Automation,
Networking Design and Support, Security, Low Voltage, and Custom
Electronics. As a Small
Business Owner, I focused on Sales and Business Development, but was
involved with all
Aspects of Operations including Design, Project Management, Software,
Commissioning, Project Completion, and Ongoing Customer Service.
As a company, we implemented many PLC based Automation and Supervisory
Control Projects from Concept to Completion. The experience exposed me to

Management and Engineers in Small and Mid Market Customers.

1986-1993
AFCON is an Israeli Control System Integrator Company that opened their
US branch in Chicago. I developed markets and sold Programmable
Controller based Systems for Factory Automation and Supervisory Control
Projects. I primarily worked in Process Control applications in the
Steel, Food, and Chemical, and also participated in the Company's rollout
of their HMI and Supervisor Software Product.
A significant part of my Role was new Business Development to bring the
Company to market for both System Integration and Software products.
