The current existing CDM system contains DB2 tables for the Portfolio

control, Product control, Application definition control and Field

edit control records. As a part of the application processing flow in

CDM, these DB2 tables are accessed by the programs many times and the

cost & resources incurred are huge due to the DB2 I-Os performed. Thus

the need has aroused to the optimization of the utilization of

resources and the increase in performance and reducing the overall

cost incurred. The saving made as part of the initial POC were

significant and is suggested to convert the DB2 tables to VSAM RLS

files
