-Identifying unknown hazardous materials using Hazcat and Hazmat ID systems.
-Work closely with local Police and Fire departments to identify and respond to
hazardous materials releases and incidents.
Certifications: -Hazardous Materials Specialist: California Specialized Training Institute (C.S.T.I.)
240 hr.
-40 Hour HAZWOPER Certified.
-Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-1), California and National Registry (NREMT).
-Various Homeland Security and FEMA sponsored threat-specific t rainings:
