As a specialist banker, I have started new companies and rescued others
on the brink of failure. I possess the ability to raise funds and build
infrastructures that facilitate and transform good ideas into profitable
businesses. In my banking career I have managed up to 200+ direct reports
and profit centers of $4M+.
My comprehensive understanding of profit center activities brings a good
working knowledge of global finance markets and regulations. A sharp focus
relative to customer service and recognition allow me to establish delivery
path impacts on both market perception and growth.
o Identifying opportunities and developing banking solutions
o Credit assessment and delegated lending authority
o Launching and expanding domestic and international business
o Creating and implementing customized growth plans
o Leading high-performance, multi-national teams
Known for being capable, confident and a team player, I am equally
comfortable working independently. I am an effective change merchant, task
and goal oriented and able to meet tight deadlines. My experience is
supported by an MBA from Macquarie University.
selected accomplishments
Seized business opportunity. Grew financial consulting firm from the ground
up with no contacts, no clients and no revenue. Identified referral sources
for business, reinvesting profits back into the business. Earned six-figure
annual income closing over $750M, with partners, through repeat and
referral business.
Rescued land deal. Client had paid 10% non-refundable land deposit on two
parcels with no funding arrangements. Reviewed transaction and wrote
funding proposal to small merchant bank. Achieved funding within one week
and achieved $2M approval to close land deal before default. Convinced bank
to issue additional $18M funding, including higher than usual loan to
security ratio in exchange for $350K-$400K "participation fee".
Established joint venture. Veterans Club owned prime beachfront property
and was insolvent. Entered into lengthy discussions with attorney
establishing joint venture partner who could keep Club operating with cash
injection. Establishment of building permits and redevelopment afforded a
negotiated fee of 10% net profit, leading to $500K revenue to my company,
and ultimately $15M to client. Initial funding $2M, construction funding
$15M.
Facilitated offshore funding. Client, a senior practitioner at Deloitte
Touche, desired to purchase a golf course resort/tourism facility but could
not raise local debt despite the involvement of numerous other bankers.
Successfully obtained "terms sheet" for $10M out of the USA and deal closed
thereafter.
