On MDOT (Michigan Department of Transportation) projects, use Field
Manager software to perform contractor estimates, track item and material
usage, check and correct inspector daily reports (IDR), maintain and
organize the project files, and review contractor certified payrolls and
wage rate interviews. Projects include M-153 (Ford Road) Venoy to
Arcola, Garden City (June 2010 - Current) and M-59 East Reconstruction
and West Resurfacing, Rochester Hills (June 2009 - Current)
Environmental Field Technician
Assist PB's environmental group on various projects with tasks including
groundwater sampling (low flow and hand bailing), hand auger sampling,
quality assurance of soil boring work and monitoring well installation,
logging of soil types from split spoon samples, soil sampling from test
pits, hand installation and development of monitoring wells, methane level
monitoring and sampling, surface water sampling, and flow rate, staff
gauge and static water measurements. Clients include City of Detroit,
Meijer, and City of Eaton Rapids.
Office Engineer
On the Modified Detroit Outfall No. 2 (MOD DRO-2) tunnel project for
the City of Detroit, processed, logged and monitored all project
submittals, DCRs, and correspondence; maintained a log to track all
changes to the project drawings and specifications and updated the
compiled sets; site administrator for the ProjectSolve2 project site and
helped create the databases used on the site for project documentation;
created the project file classification system; responsible for writing
and updating the project SOPs in addition to drafting the construction
management (CM) manual, the project management plan (PMP), and the
business resumption plan (BRP); assisted the Resident Engineer assemble
and analyze all general contractor and subconsultant claim items - the
total claim was reduced from nearly $11.4 million to $5.6 million.
Document Control / Administrative Assistant
For General Motors, managed and archived all project and program
level records; maintained the compiled set of design, review and
construction drawings and specifications; maintained all of the field
order and submittal files; downloaded and organized all construction
progress photos; prepared all PB subconsultant, vendor, independent
consultant and flow-thru agreements; maintained and updated the project
prime agreements; drafted various A/E, construction and design-build
contract for the Client; provided office wide administrative support for
PB and client employees; provided basic IT support; processed DCRs and
submittals; assisted the Finance Manager with client invoice preparation,
vendor maintenance and close-out; maintained the project financial
records; assisted the Project Estimator with field order assembly and
reconciliation; assisted the Construction Manager with transmittal of

Environmental Field Technician
For MichCon (currently DTE Energy), screened residential homes for
mercury contamination using a Jerome and Lumex mercury vapor analyzer;
responsible for training new employees in the field to ensure compliance
with the project work plan; provided MichCon customers with information
about the results, exposures and potential hazards of mercury. Field work
on other projects included lead paint, groundwater, hand auger and
geoprobe sampling.
