Project Highlights
Maryland Inter County Connector Contract B (Highway Lighting and Communications
Portion) (01/10 to 11/10)
Maintained project controls to be in compliance with all quality and
environmental regulations under the ICC-B contract. Procured material
required for the project. Wrote RFIs, correspondence letters, created
submittals and maintained all logs. Created and revised construction work
plans for subcontractor activities. Updated drawing sets for as-builts
using Adobe Photoshop and issued updated copies to the proper parties.
Assisted the Sr. Superintendent with overseeing subcontractor work crews
and assisted in facilitating scheduling meetings. Also coded time cards and
tracked all activities.
Valley Metro Light Rail Project- Phoenix, AZ (03/09 to 12/09)
Assisted in the close out phase of the project. Finalized the submission of
all submittals and extra equipment that was owed to the customer. Oversaw
the troubleshooting and repair of all punch list items. Also assisted the
Sr. OCS Superintendent with managing the night crew. Main contributions
were coordinating power downs for substations and setting up traffic
control. Also maintained all project vehicles and was environmental
coordinator.
Sound Transit Authority Light Rail Project- Seattle, WA (03/08 to 02/09)
Created work plans and one line drawings using AutoCad to guide the
installation of all devices and cabling for several outside light rail
stations. Devices involved with activities were control cabinets, PA
speakers, noise monitors, and closed-circuit cameras. etc. Also created
work plans and one-line drawings using AutoCAD for the microwave radio
systems for the Seattle downtown and Beacon Hill tunnels. Maintained and
tracked all material received from prime contractor and dispersed to work
crews for field installation. Assisted the Jr. Superintendent with
overseeing work crews by ensuring they were in compliance with all safety
regulations set by OSHA/MEC/Sound Transit Light Rail Authority. Coded time
cards and tracked all field installations.
Beaumont Port Authority- Beaumont, TX (11/07 to 02/08)
Installed and retrofitted a new Pelco camera system on existing camera
poles and installed Verint wireless system in storage hangers for cameras
not on the fiber network. Built all control cabinets, terminated and
labeled all communication cabling, and terminated all electrical service
cables. Also installed an AMAG access control system in the Port security
entrance building.
Mobile Port Authority (Coal Terminal)- Mobile, AL (04/07 to 10/07)
Installed all CCTV poles, Pelco cameras, security lighting, rigid conduits,
PVC inner duct, 24SMFO fiber, and electrical cabling. Built all control
cabinets, terminated and labeled all communication cabling, and terminated
all electrical service cables. Built head-end room that consisted of
communication racks, HVAC, Corning fiber racks, IFS transceivers, Pelco
DVRs, UPSs, video stabilizers, and video analytic blades.
AEP Headquarters- Corpus Christi, TX (02/07 to 03/07)
Oversaw a three-man crew to convert AEP's CCTV system from a black and
white to a color system. Installed additional cameras in the elevator carts
and repaired the existing cameras.
Victoria Port Authority- Victoria, TX (12/06 to 01/07)
Assisted the Sr. Technician with reconstructing the Ports gate access
control system and brought them up to standard with NEC code. System
consisted of to two access gates, two keypad kiosks, and two gate
controllers and four cameras.
Corpus Christi Port Authority- Corpus Christi, TX (02/06 to 11/06)
Installed AMAG security systems in CCPA security buildings. Built field
control cabinets, terminated and labeled all communication cabling, and
terminated all electrical service cables. Installed Cohu and Flir cameras.
Assisted with all integration of all camera video analytics.
