. Developed strategies to accelerate or defer taxable income/

. Collaborated with Compensation and Benefits groups on tax issues
involving compensation, qualified and non-qualified plans,
reimbursement programs and tax reporting issues.

of profitable subsidiaries with loss-making subsidiaries.
. Developed debt push-down strategies to shelter profitable
subsidiaries from separate state taxation resulting in savings of $5mm
- 6mm per annum.

. Performed tax due diligence on dozens of acquisitions, negotiated a
$20mm purchase price reduction to forego Section 338(h)(10) election
on one acquisition.

. Revamped international FAS 109 reporting process after major
acquisition of public company that operates in over 100 countries;
presented changes at international finance group meetings

. Revised process to compute deferred tax assets and liabilities,
including state deferred taxes, to meet FAS 109/ SOX 404 requirements.
. Automated and streamlined tax compliance process, resulting in a

. Managed on time delivery of major outsourcing projects with "Big 4"

. Centralized and re-engineered indirect tax function that improve
overall quality and reduced costs by 3 FTEs through outsourcing of
compliance.
. Worked closely with Treasury and Procurement departments to develop
corporate procurement card reporting process that captured data for
sales and use tax that allowed selection of new vendor that provided
significant P-card rebates.
. Developed and assumed leadership role to implement legal entity

Billing and IT departments and outside consulting firms to ensure that
legal documents were complete and accurate and that the financial,
payroll and billing systems changes were properly implemented by the
