• Responsible for the daily operations of a $16 million division of a Fortune 500
Company.
• Areas of responsibility include Manufacturing, Purchasing, Production Control,
Accounting, and Human Resources.
• Directly supervise a staff of 8 salaried and indirectly supervise 26 hourly
employees.
• Led several corporate initiatives; with focus in developing low cost count ry
sourcing, vendor consolidation, cost reduction, improving production efficiencies,

• Responsible for procurement of all raw materials, purchased components, and
M RO supplies.
• Costs were a primary concern in this position and I was also responsible for
vendor selection and price negotiations and also led several initiatives on vendor
consolidation and cost reductions.
• While in this position I t ravelled to other companies that had been acquired by
t he company and assisted in updating and improving the performance of the
p urchasing departments at those locations.
• Additionally I managed the inbound and outbound common carrier freight in this
position. This required negotiating rates and carrier selection.

• Maintained accurate costing information for the manufacturing processes of the

p roduced as well as entering the labor and purchase price information for raw
