I am a consultant in Accenture’s Finance & Performance Management service line with focus on management accounts,
corporate financial reporting and finance operations.
Projects:
Client – BP Plc: - Business Cutover Analyst (Duration: Nov10 to Feb10)
Duties: BP Plc UK and Norway are upgrading its existing SAP ERP system to a higher version. My role in the project is to:
Understand the highly complex accounting operations (Shared Services Center) in an ERP environment (Cash,
Intercompany, Payroll, eExpense and Joint Venture billings) due to their joint venture billings requirement
Define existing processes in accounting functions and map these processes into new SAP
Design, development and implementation of the cutover plan and approaches to a very detailed level to ensure
the smooth transition and operating of these functions during the migration phase of the project
Collaborate and execute the cutover activities with the client teams based in the UK, USA, Norway and India
Client – Shell Trading: - Financial Analyst (Duration: Sep10 to Oct10)
Duties: Shell Trading was experiencing the differences in the trading balance sheet accounts reconciliation (from SOX
compliance prospective). My role in the project team was to perform root cause analysis on the differences by liaising with
client’s finance team and provide support to the execution team in reducing/eliminating it.

Responsible for month/quarter end close process for UK and France entities under US GAAP with tight deadline.
Collaborate and communicate extensively with US and European accounting teams on financial reporting and
accounting. Identify areas for improvements in finance processes and to reduce the close cycle
Perform monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation in accordance with SOX and corporate policy. Interpret
the financial data flowing through balance sheet accounts and respectively proving accounts commentaries in

Interpreting complex vendor funding financial transactions arrangement and journal posting respectively

Projects:
Cash transformation and process improvements: Led major cash account transformation project which includes
clearing over 1500 reconciling items across 9 cash accounts of European legal entities. Process improvements
and development on these cash accounts such as automation of cash reconciliation, defined approach on
reconciling items management
Cash function transition to US based Treasury function: Successfully transitioned UK cash accounting function to
US based Treasury. Trained and mentored two Seattle based financial analyst on cash accounts transition
Fixed Assets transformation: Successfully moved FA accounting close activity out of Period End Close schedule,
therefore providing extra resources for PEC reviews. Extensively worked with Senior Finance Manager on
defining new FA register on newly establish fulfilment centres. Transition of partial FA activities to an offshore
