Director, Head of Site Informatics (2003-2010)
Led the informatics department to design, implement and operate IT
infrastructure, business applications and support services. Managed 60+ IT
professionals and a multi-million dollar budget in an FDA regulated
pharmaceutical environment.
. Improved service quality and customer satisfaction from below 4.0 to a
world class level of 4.7+ (on a 5-point scale) by initiating and driving
a highly successful Service Improvement Program.
. Introduced IT Service Management by establishing ITIL based processes,
resulting in a high quality informatics environment with well documented
processes and highest service levels. Achieved multiple successful
validation audits.
. Continually reduced IT spending by 3% annually through selective
consolidation and adaption of services to required business needs.

and telecommunication function for all sites in North America, directing
the strategic planning, implementation, and operations of network services
in the region.

North American sites and leading a highly successful supplier and service

responsibility for Roche's worldwide Corporate Network, providing WAN
services for 60,000 employees.
