o Primary responsibility is to continually improve, or
occasionally produce a new marketing strategy every 30-45 days.
o Raise brand awareness of UofA through different means such as
corporate sponsorships, social events, sporting events, and Web
2.0 (facebook, twitter, etc).

activity.
. TrustWay Insurance - Accounting Intern Dec 2008
- May 2009
o Interned at TrustWay Insurance for six months working with the
marketing and accounting departments. I introduced an idea to
streamline our old way of communication between our sales staff
and accounting departments by introducing hand held scanners
which do not require each sales associate to manually enter data
in a computer. This initiative, along with other improvements
was forecasted to reduce our communication cost by 8.5%
. Rite-Aid - Shift Supervisor Dec 2006
- Oct 2010
o Worked as an Assistant Store Manager/ Shift Supervisor since
2006. I learned a lot of leadership skills while managing
employers from diverse backgrounds. I have gained exceptional
customer relations skills. I also received many mandatory
training sessions about different aspects of my job such as
customer relations, money management, inventory management, risk
management, among others. I also led a team to our different
stores when we converted from Eckerd to Rite-Aid. After my
arrival, our Front End Sales increased by 2%.
. Tutor
o I also tutor children ages 8-18 in Math and English at my
church. Most of these kids are from non-english speaking
countries with practically no educational background.
SKILLS/ EXPERIENCES
. During the summer of 2010, a got an opportunity to fly to Sri Lanka
and teach basin English to children so they could start getting an
education.
. Worked extensively on the Accounting Cycle, which includes order
management, purchase management, inventory management, accounts
payable, general ledger, financial statements at Classic Computers
Systems
. Developed great analytical skills via extraneous coursework at Georgia
Tech/ Excellent at getting projects done under a strict time
constraint (Completed numerous team projects under a time constraint
at Georgia Tech).
. Proficient at researching and sorting data
o While at Georgia Tech, my team completed two projects that
required an in-depth analysis of a firm's marketing and
accounting aspects. This project required us to research
everything from financial documents to marketing strategy.
