. Initiated Projects & Systems Division as a profit center to deal with

turnkey projects.

. Obtained the biggest ever order of Rs. 430 million for Electrical

Systems from ESSAR Steel - Hot Strip Mill in association with General

Electric Co. USA.

. Conducted training program for Branch Sales Engineers and Managers to

enable them to deal with projects for all India network.

. Conducted seminars at RSP, TISCO, MECON, Kalyani, Usha Martin and

Jindal strips for promoting Steel Projects, giving customized

handbooks in each seminar.

. Promoted an agreement/ understanding with GENERAL ELECTRIC DRIVE

SYSTEMS, USA. Jointly conducted seminars all over India during Nov

1992. Advertisement campaign also released.

. Participated in technical proposals with GE for hot strip mills of

Jindal, Salem and Bokaro steel plants

. Weighing Dept. in ASEA had been established by self in1983. Had under-

taken marketing and application of weighing systems in India.

. Participated in international workshop in Vasteras, Sweden for

launching PRESSDUCTORr systems in India

optimization of arc furnace for Keshari Steel in ASEA AB Sweden, and

. Commissioned supervisory control systems at Bokaro Steel Plant BY 1976

. Designed, commissioned and maintained Electronic Crane Weighing System

(first time in India) in 1977 at Rourkela Steel Plant.

. Was responsible for maintenance/ repair of electronic systems in the

steel plant.

. Project management of LD computer consisting, Process control computer

system with seven on line microcomputers and thirteen /up based crane

weighing systems with radio communication and five flux charging and

batching systems.

. Proposed an integrated approach for automation of process of entire

steel plant .The schemes were adopted in all plants of SAIL
