Senior PCB Librarian
Responsible for symbol creation for entire lab of
engineers, using Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition
v. EE2007.8. Symbols are built strictly per IPC7351.
8/04-1/10 RadiSys Corporation, Boca Raton, FL
Senior PCB Designer/Librarian
Responsible for maintaining and building extensive PCB
design library, along with high speed design (5GHz). Also
authored a corporate standard for library creation and
maintenance. Tools used include Cadence Concept and Allegro
V15.7, and OrCad Capture CIS.(Facility closed)
7/02-5/04 Naval Research Lab, Space Systems Division, Washington,
D.C.
Senior PCB Designer (consulting position)
Fourth stint at NRL. Responsible for designing high speed
and mixed signal aerospace PCB's. CAD software used
included Orcad Capture and Layout version 9.2. Libraries
were set up and configured for Valor. (Position was
terminated due to cutback of NASA project funding).
2/00-1/02 Nortel Networks, Qtera Division, Boca Raton, FL
Senior PCB Design Engineer/Librarian
Responsibilities included managing CAD library of over
1200 parts utilizing
Orcad Capture CIS and layout as well as Allegro V13.6 and
Cadence Concept.
Duties included ensuring all footprints and symbols were
correct for
DFM/DFT capabilities and Nortel corporate standards.
(Division folded).
10/97-1/00 Naval Research Lab, Space Systems Division, Washington,
D.C.
Senior PCB Designer (consulting position)
Responsible for complete PCB design packages of complex
aerospace RF boards, power supply boards, and various other
digital and analog boards

4/97-10-97 Boeing Aerospace, Kent, WA
Senior PCB Designer (consulting position)
Performed design of high density mixed technology printed
circuit boards, both
analog and digital, for Boeing's Sea Launch
program. Performed layout of all boards
involved in their upper stage avionics using Orcad
software V7 and Autocad V14.
Also had to create and manage an entirely new
Capture and Layout library from scratch.
PAST EXPERIENCE
From 1980 to 1997, I performed various PCB and E/M design duties for

Design of aerospace boards using Orcad capture and PADS Power
PCB for commercial
satellites. Also mainained PADS and Orcad libraries.
Lockheed Martin, Lanham, MD
PCB Design checker/librarian of aerospace boards for various
NASA projects, including Cassini, FAST and Spartan. (received
numerous commendations).
Naval Research Lab, Washington, D.C.
Design Supervisor of 13 PCB and E/M engineers, designers and
drafters.
Delco Systems Operations, Goleta, CA
Manual design of aerospace PCB's, later to be digitized. Also
worked with original IPC
team.
Honeywell Satellite Systems, Glendale, AZ
Design and hand-taping of analog and power supply boards.
United Technologies, Hamilton Test Systems,
Tucson, AZ
RACAL/REDAC design of PCB's used in commercial applications.

design and wire harness design.
