implementing "Back to the Future" plan to the eventual title change from

Colonial Homes to Classic American Homes (CAH) which was made with the

February/March 2000 issue. Budget: $3.6MM; staff: 18; report to Executive

Vice President, Corporate Marketing & Sales, and to President, Hearst

Magazines.

. Positioned Colonial Homes as the authority on classic American style.

Redesigned logo working closely with syndicated research company MRI,

which led to a 7% increase in readership.

Publisher, Hearst Special Publications Group 1995 to 1996

Responsible for P&L and budget performance goals of eighteen titles

consisting of House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping, and Country Living

Specials. Oversaw circulation, marketing, promotion, and advertising.

Worked closely with editors to grow the parent title specials and Hearst

Magazine Enterprises (HME) developing new stand-alone titles. Budget:

$3.2MM; staff: 10; reported to Executive Vice President, Group Publishing

. Developed package buys across all group titles - House Beautiful's

Kitchens & Baths and Home Remodeling & Decorating; Good Housekeeping's
