I worked as a semi-trailer mechanic. I repaired all
aspects of
semi trailers including but not limited to roofs,
flooring,
FRP, rails, crossmembers, hydraulic liftgates,
lights/electrical wiring. Welding, fabrication,and
preventive
maintenance were also part of my job.
American Test Labs of South Florida: Ft. Lauderdale, Fl

I did structural integrity testing on products such as
doors,
windows, hurricane shutters and many other products that
had
to pass a set of standards set by ASTM, MIAMI-DADE,
and/or
AAMA for certification. I had a wide variety of duties
that I
had to perform on a daily basis such as blueprint
/schematics
reading, calibration of the test equipment, and
deflection
data entry. I also used many different tools including
power
hand tools, various saws, plasma cutter, mig welder, high
speed camera, and digital calipers.
Stoughton Trailers LLC: Brodhead, Wi
August 2004 - August 2006
I worked on the assembly line building semi-trailers for
Stoughton Trailers LLC. During my two years working for
Stoughton Trailers I performed many tasks including but
not
limited to quality inspection, trouble shooting,
electrical
wiring, suspension alignments, body work/repair, and
plumbing
under the trailer. I also added various accessories that
the
costumer wanted on the trailer such as, placards, tire
carriers, or decals. Installing the roof, rub rails,
bumpers,
lights, and wood lining were also part of my daily
duties.
I am a self motivated individual and a very quick
learner. I
consider myself to be a reliable individual who is a team
player that has experience in a leadership role.
