Ministries
1. Implemented and facilitated Divorce Recovery Ministry at Brentwood
Baptist Church.
a. The implementation of this ministry included presenting plans,
objectives and goals to the pastor and facilitator of family ministries.
b. Getting the approval of pastor, Dr. Joe Samuel Ratliff.
c. Selecting and organizing the materials needed including reserving space
and time at the church.
d. Distribution of information to the congregation, devised pamphlets,
distribution of pamphlets, making announcements during services, and
signing on interested parties.
e. Reporting statistical data (number of attendants, different
denominations in attendance, number of members and non-members) to the
facilitator of family ministries.
f. Biblical teaching on divorce and what the Bible has to say about
divorce.

3. Teaching and facilitating home-cell bible studies. November 1989-
1999.
Taught bible study for singles using different materials. The main book
was the Bible, but other materials were utilized such as Experiencing God
by Henry Blackaby.
4. Fort Bend Prison (Prison Ministry through Brentwood Baptist Church).

5. Edith Irby Rehabilitation Facility (Ministry through Brentwood Baptist
Church).

6. Spiritual leader at Shay's House (Stop Turning Entering Prison, Inc). A
non-profit (501 3 organization established in 2006. Services offered to
women and teens who have one or more obstacles in their paths and need to
become self-sufficient entering back into the community. Instituted and
conduct Sunday church services on the second and fourth Sundays. Teach
bible study on Friday evenings. Also available for spiritual counseling
when requested. July 2006.
7. Associate Minister, Brentwood Baptist Church. Duties include
preaching, teaching, administering the sacraments, leading prayer meetings,
and performing other ministerial duties when requested.
