Position: Business Data Analyst / Programmer
Provide technical and functional expertise to users in more than one area of the TDS ERP application
modules. Enhancement and modification to most modules of TDS application, integration, interface, data
extracts, support and administration of other software applications on SQL Server 2005, 2008 like RoadNet
application used for daily route planning, SalesForce for Salesman performance tracking, ADP for Payroll,
Lucas for warehouse picking and loading, Prophix and FAS used for budgeting and Fixed Asset, Management
Occasional administration, installation, upgrades applications running on Microsoft servers.

Responsibilities included enhancements and implementation of add-on modules to QAD’s MFG/PRO ERP.
Work involved customizing the existing modules of the MFG/PRO system to follow the business logic and
processes used by the client, interaction with the end user in developing functional specifications for
enhancements and/or modifications, coding and testing those enhancements and/or modifications. Major area
of work involved working with Progress RDBMS and 4GL on Manufacturing, Distribution & Planning and
Sales modules of MFG/PRO ERP.
The following is a list of Projects for in a consulting capacity:
ROC (Regional Operational Center) - Hindustan Lever Limited, Bangalore India
• Contributed in Design, development and implementation of this entire module, .
• gather all sales requirements for the branch and also inter-branch
• The outputs generated immediate production and distribution plans for the overall factories under
the branch
• Optimized machine utilization for production by providing detailed machine wise production plans
using a “smoothening process”
• Complete distribution plan for the warehouses under the branch
• The module works on the concept of user defined time frames (buckets). It generates a firm
distribution, production and dispatch plans for the current bucket and a tentative plan for the next 12
buckets.
• Other outputs provided details of 13 week rolling production plan, forecast vs. actual sales and stock
cover and machine utilization reports.
OPAC (Oil Purchase Accounting Center) - Hindustan Lever Limited, India
• Contributed in the complete system development life cycle and implementation of this add-on
module of MFG/PRO.
• The module was used to purchase raw oil from suppliers through brokers.
• Manage supplier contracts, charge penalties when contracts are not met in due time and maintain
advances if any given to the suppliers.
• Lab Analyze when oil is received, accept or reject oil received based on the rebate percentage set in
the system.
• Designed and developed reports to provide details of oil volumes received over time periods,
suppliers. Price analysis based on the contracted and market rate.
• Retro billing suppliers based on QC and/or invoicing issues.
DPS (Dispatch Processing System) – Hindustan Lever Limited, India
• Implemented this add-on module of MFG/PRO, which helps to dispatch and sell finished goods
from the factory to the warehouse and redistribution stockists.
• Numerous reports were modified to generate a weekly dispatch plan, generate and print loading slips
and gate passes, daily stock status, dispatch details and inter unit transfers.

Responsibilities included customization and implementation of various add-on modules to integrate other
related functions of the MFG/PRO ERP application, in Progress RDBMS on the UNIX (DEC Alpha)
Platform. The projects worked on included MFG/PRO Field Distribution Module (FDM) and Branch
Commercial Module (BCM).
